Friendship. Fellowship. Service to others.
Internationally, Rotary is an organization of 1.2 million business and professional leaders in more than 165 countries, building goodwill and peace in the world through humanitarian service.
Locally, we are a group of community leaders in Springfield, doing what we can to make a difference. Since our founding in 1931, the Springfield, KY Rotary (club #3753), has strived to live up to Rotary's ideals and mission.
Some of the projects we undertake include:
Annual Pancake Breakfast, February 16, 2013 – This event funds our Tom D. Reed “Service Above Self” Scholarships for Washington County students attending any higher education institution.
Lion’s-Rotary Radio Auction, December 1, 2013 - This project is a joint “fun and fund-raising” event with both clubs doing an on-air radio auction of items donated by local and out-of-town donors. In 2012, we raised over $8800!
Annual Rotarian Scholarship - Springfield Rotary Club 6710 is offering the annual Tom Duncan Reed “Service Above Self” Rotarian Scholarship to assist recipients in pursuing a program of post-secondary education or training, at a college, trade or certified training school.
